Claiming Continuing Education Units (CEU's or CME's) aha

Below is the step by step guide for claiming Con Ed from the American Heart Association for "Provider Courses" (BLS, ACLS, PALS). FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS #2

If you are NOT an EMT or Paramedic, follow these instructions:

After the 24 hours has passed as noted below, you will need to input your license number (RN, MD, RT, Pharm) in all places asking for certification and license numbers claiming the CEU Certificate. CAPCE is the agency used by EMT's for auto population of Con Ed for certification renewal.  After selecting any "level of EMT" it will ask your specialty (such as radiology or dentist). 

Just as if you attend a physician's conference as a Nurse, those CEU's are accepted by the Board's of Nursing once you manually upload the certificate.
